SMT Program Requirements

Our graduates of the SMT receive special honors and recognition during the Senior Awards Night and Graduation, as well as a special designation on the diploma.

10 Credits in Science, Math, and Technology

3 credits math, up to and including Integrated Math III
3 credits lab science
2 credits technology
2 additional credits in science, math and/or technology

Research or AP level class

Presentation of a research project at an SMT recognized science fair, completion of all 4 years of PLTW engineering courses, or a recognized alternative.

Beginning with the freshman class that will graduate in 2015 we will begin with the following will ALSO be required to graduate with an SMT Diploma:

2 Credits of World Language

Includes American Sign Language

30 hours of community experience
